250 Alcoma Blvd – Physical Rescue

On Sunday evening, Stations 223 & 227 were requested by PH PD to assist with a physical rescue of a male patient that was stabbed multiple times and ran into the wooded area of Alcoma Blvd. Rescue companies and PHEMS fought through the thick brush and made it to the patient. While crews were packaging up the patient, other crews were cutting path through the woods and thick brush for easier access to the awaiting ambulance. All public safety units involved did a fantastic job. Their non stop work ethic allowed the patient to make it to a local trauma center and is expected to make a full recovery.
