10-blk Ross Rd – Residential Structure Fire

On Wednesday morning, around 10:30 AM stations 221, 225, 227, 137, 196 were alerted for a structure fire in the area of Ross Rd & E Lemington Ave. St.221 confirmed a working fire with smoke visible from their station. 221EN arrived on scene with smoke and fire showing from the structure. AC911 reported possible entrapment. 221EN deployed an attack line and conducted a primary search to check for any victims, none were found. 516FM arrived on scene and assumed IC. Truck 227 and Truck 225 arrived on scene. Truck 225 secured a water supply. Truck 227 was tasked to ventilate the roof. 137 & 196 crew arrived and staged for RIT. IC was transferred to 227CHF. Stations 222 & 223 were brought to the scene. As conditions inside deteriorated, all crews were evacuated from the building and Truck 225 operated its master stream till the fire was brought under control. The Penn Hills Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
