About 8:45 PM on Wednesday evening, Rescue Companies from 227, 223, 222 were dispatched for a vehicle rollover with possible entrapment in the 1200-blk of Universal Rd. 227CHF arrived on scene with a vehicle on its roof. The operator of the vehicle fled the scene on foot prior to units arriving on scene. 227RQ, 223EN, 222RQ assisted with traffic control and checking the area for the operator. The operator was located in a wooded area just off the roadway by fire personnel. PHPD took the male into custody a short time later. The operator of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. PHPD is investigating the accident.
