On Tuesday morning, shortly after 8:20am Stations 225, 227, 222, 223 were alerted for a bedroom on fire in the 400-blk of Macfarlane Dr. 227CHF arrived on scene and all occupants were out of the house and found an extension cord on fire in the bedroom. 227TK & 225TK arrived on scene and crews quickly extinguished the fire with an extinguisher minimizing property damage. 222EN arrived on scene and crews checked for any extension, none was found. 227TK started ventilation. All other units were cancelled. An occupant was treated on scene by PHEMS for minor smoke inhalation. The PHFM is investigating the cause of the fire.
