500-blk Penn Vesta – Residential Structure Fire

On Wednesday evening, Stations 225, 227, 222, 285 were alerted for a house on fire in the 500 block of Penn Vista Drive. 227CHF arrived on scene with fire showing from two sides of the structure. All occupants were able to exit the structure safely. 227TK arrived on scene and crews deployed an attack line and started to extinguish the fire. 225TK arrived on scene and crews deployed an additional attack line and checked for extension. 222EN arrived on scene and supplied tank water to 227TK till 227EN could bring in the hydrant. 285EN arrived on scene and manpower staged in the rear of the structure. The Fire was brought under control with 15mins. The fire was able to be contained to an attached garage. The homeowner will be able to stay in their house tonight. No injuries were reported, the PHFM is investigating the cause of the fire.
