On Tuesday morning, Shortly before 11am Stations 225, 227, 222, 221 were alerted for a house on fire in the 9900-blk of Grandview Ave. PHPD arrived on scene and reported a kitchen fire. 227TK arrived on scene with fire showing from the “B” side of the house. The entire PHVFD & Verona VFD went on stand-by. 227TK crew advanced an attack line into the house. 227EN arrived and laid a supply line from the hydrant to 227TK. Crews got a quick knock down of the fire. Crews from 221EN & 222EN started overhaul and checking for extension. 223EN started ventilation. The fire was brought under control in about 15mins. The PH Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
