On Sunday evening, Stations 227 & 223 were alerted for a single vehicle accident with wires down at the intersection of Fielding @ National Dr. 227CHF arrived on scene with multiple electrical service lines down on the street and a utility pole sheered from a box truck. The driver was out of the vehicle denying injury. 227RQ arrived on scene and started scene safety. 227EN and 223EN arrived and assisted with scene lighting. The driver was taken into custody by PHPD for suspicion of DWI. Duquesne Light had the roadway closed for several hours.
