Shortly before 4am on Monday morning, Rescue companies from 227, 223, 222 were alerted for a vehicle into a utility pole.  PHPD arrived on scene were found the driver unconscious and were unable to gain access to the patient.  227RQ and PHEMS arrived on scene and access was gained for EMS.  The driver was transported to a local trauma center.  PHPD is investigating the cause of the accident.
